Whale in the sky

Tonight was the third night in a row of sleepovers. Mikey got home from GSP yesterday so we stayed the night at his house instead of mine. Jared, Hayden, Rachel, and I made Phil a cake that said “Phil” really big and had a heart. And then we made our own version of Clue, which I won. Phil and Ross were picked up by their mom this morning to move to Texas. Bogey was there too. I’m going to miss all of them a lot. I haven’t had a best friend move away for a long time, and it feels weird. We hung out with Phil pretty much every day and now he’s going to be almost 1,000 miles away.

I am in New Brunswick visiting my grandparents. I always get depressed being with my family this much, especially since I can’t use my phone here and we barely have internet. So I can barely talk to the people who make sense to me. But the town we are in is really quaint, and I love my grandparents’ house and their cat. Mostly, though, I am excited to go out on a boat and see whales. I love whales.

Last night, we played a 4-hour game of Monopoly, which I won. It was just Jared and me for the last hour or so. We ran out of money in the bank because I had all of it.

We have also been playing a lot of Mario Kart lately. When I close my eyes all I see is the game, especially falling off of ledges. And the music is stuck in my head.

Four hours of sleep, wuddup

Something satisfying to make up for not being at Wolf Parade right now.

• My best friend getting one point higher than me on both AP exams we took
• Knowing that everyone’s AP scores are going to be discussed for the next year at school

I’m so bored of high school and i’m not even back yet.
