Instead of going to a nice restaurant before prom, we are going to see Titus Andronicus at ear X-tacy.
When I left my house, there were big trees in front of my neighborhood. Now they are gone.
We went to ear X-tacy on Friday and I looked in the Joanna Newsom section, and low and behold, her new album was already there. So jared bought it and we listened to the first CD in the car, and he burned all 3 for me, so I am getting them today. It’s already been amazing from what I’ve heard. Very exciting.

I finally got my license today. And coincidentally, Jared was in town because of the Tortoise show (which I can’t go to- damn you, 18 and older). So the first place I drove was to his house to hang out with him. Which was nice, since he drives to my house all the time.
I also went on a college visit to Centre today, which was more overwhelming than anything. I have no idea where i’m...
I job shadowed at the LEO today. There were so many brown-haired, scruffy-faced men there.
Also, fuck yes for school being canceled yesterday. Not that we would have had real work or anything. I’m just glad I missed the “women’s health issues” (aka abstinence) session.

I finished Heima today, well the documentary part. It was really just beautiful.
It’s really fucked up to see the Hurt Locker, and then come home and read the news about how 100 people were either killed or wounded in car bombings in Iraq yesterday.. completely depressing.

Oh I have a good idea: we should place missiles in the Persian Gulf region. that sounds like it would lessen tension in the Middle East. oh, and THEN we can freeze spending on domestic issues, while spending more money on our nuclear arsenal!
